Admitted in 2017, Kirstie Donnelly is a civil litigation solicitor. Kirstie graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2014 and completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice there the following year. She began her legal career at a firm specialising in housing law and joined BKF in 2018 having gained considerable experience in providing legal advice to landlords in relation to a variety of housing and tenancy law issues.
In addition to advising on pre- litigation issues, including preparation of notices, she is experienced in conducting eviction proceedings on behalf of Social and Private Rented Sector (PRS) landlords in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland. Kirstie also has experience in other related litigation including debt recovery, sequestrations and Anti-Social Behaviour Orders.
At BKF, Kirstie provides of legal services to PRS landlords and letting agencies across Scotland including handling a significant number of repossession and payment actions in the new First-tier Tribunal for Scotland Housing and Property Chamber. She also deals with debt recovery actions in the Sheriff Courts and assist with commercial disputes.
