Letting Agent Registration & the Code of Practice
The Register is now open for applications (since 31st January 2018). Those wishing to join the register can apply at: https://lettingagentregistration.gov.scot.

Registration events
The Scottish Government have organised a series of events for letting agents in February and beginning of March. The intention of these events is to explain the registration application process and the information that letting agents will need to provide. Code of Practice
Amendments to the Code of Practice to take account of changes as a result of the Private Residential Tenancy, and to recognise that not all letting agents hold or handle client money, have now completed their Parliamentary passage. To make it easier to see the most up to date Code, a version of the Code of Practice that contains all the changes in one document can be found using the following link: www.gov.scot/lettingagentcodeofpractice.
